Commercial Concrete Service
Commercial concrete has to take more load than residential and so we carefully plan the mix and the reinforcement appropriate for each job. Our work has seen us provide the concrete for large scale construction projects including large scale screed concrete pours and we are qualified and insured for any construction project you have coming up. Commercial work involves very close collaboration to tie in with other contractors and the construction schedule so get in touch today and we can start to work together on how to meet your needs.
Screed Concrete We apply screed as a layer of specially mixed concrete aggregate laid over an existing concrete layer to provide a smooth and level layer ready for the application of linoleum, tiling, or a polished concrete surface. We can provide the screed necessary for underfloor heating or for finishing off your commercial flooring. Concrete Parking Lots While asphalt dominates parking lots due to being cheaper to install, a lot of commercial projects are turning to concrete because despite a slightly higher installation cost, the toughness of concrete and natural longevity make it more financially attractive over the long term. For heavy usage concrete is naturally better suited which means that loading bays and areas of heavy traffic are better suited to a concrete surface than asphalt. We can mix the right aggregate for your commercial parking lot and reinforce it to ensure it stands the test of time and traffic. Plus we are experts in ensuring the grade and channels to ensure drainage that will cope with the rigors of Florida's weather. Self Consolidating Concrete (SCC) Self consolidating concrete is a game changer. It's a recently developed mix that flows better than traditional concrete without the aggregate separating out from the cement. The advantage of that is that we can flow it into spaces that are oddly shaped, or congested with a lot of necessary rebar, without having to vibrate it to ensure that it flows into position without separation or air bubbles both of which will cause structural problems when it cures. How? Because we use superplasticizers to ensure the flowability and if that makes them sound like they should be wearing capes, well that's not so very wrong. SCC is great for commercial concrete projects because it makes it possible to flow concrete into the tightest of spaces with guaranteed results. Prior to the advent of SCC that was only possible by increasing the water content of poured concrete and the increased water content led to decreased structural strength. SCC gives us the best of all worlds and while it takes skill to mix the exact blend of ingredients we have got that covered for you. Commercial Stamped Concrete Stamped concrete, with its infinite range of styles, colors and patterns, is also perfect for commercial projects because it can reflect the branding and color scheme of clients. We can create flooring that flows seamlessly with corporate imagery or is tailored to a specific line of retail. |
